Individuals and organizations can make a tax deductible donation to have trees planted in their name. This would allow them to take an active role in reducing their carbon footprint and improving their community.
Who would be eligible to receive donated trees?
Green spaces that the public at large interact with would be the preferred recipient of donated trees. Parks, public squares, schools, roadways, hospitals, zoos, golf courses and community green spaces could all be eligible to receive donated trees.
Where would the trees come from?
Only trees from recognized nursery growers will be selected for donation into green spaces. All trees must be grade 1 or better.
Who can donate?
Individuals, groups, organizations and businesses can donate to have trees planted in their name. This website and promotional events are vehicles in which donations can be made.
